what year/type of impreza has avcs heads

Can anyone tell me what model/year of carhas avcs heads

does my 2002 sti uk have them

i think they started using avcs from version 8, could be wrong tho.

I'm pretty sure all STi have AVCS and V7 have AVCS heads.But JDM WRX v7 have AVCS heads...

All NEWAGE Sti`s(v7 Bug onwards) have AVCS(Classics don`t)

ALL NEWAGE JDM`s (WRX or STI) v7 onwards have AVCS

So YES your UK STI does have it

Newage STis - inlet cam only - From 2002 to 2007

Euro WRX from 2006 onwards
JDM WRX from 2002 onwards

WRX and STi hatchbacks from 2008 on both inlet and exhaust cams.

This is my understanding
