can someone look at these pulleys...
Ive got a replacement crank pulley off mattybr5...
The one on the left is my original one, and the one on the right is what he gave me...
Ive never seen a pulley like the one on the right before, its a LOT heavier than my original one. Does anyone have a pulley like this on their car?
I dont want to fit something that is heavier than what i took off, especially as some of you will know ive had problems with the crank keyway.

Funds are tight at the moment. Will it be ok to use a solid one? It just doesnt feel right putting something back on which is totally different to what i took off...

Ive tried contacting him, but he is ignoring phone calls, texts and PM's.

Mine is the same as yours (on the left).
Not sure what the other one is from. What i do know is, when fitting lightweight pulleys, you gain c.2.5bhp from each lbs lost from the crank. So to gain weight on the crank you will lose c.2.5bhp for every lbs added.
In your situation with your present problems, i would for the shake of £100, rob the Mrs, and the kids, and the dog, and go for a lightweight item (5.? lbs vs 1.2 lbs). In my book that's c. -4lbs= c.+10 bhp as a bonus.
I'm gonna do a little research and get me one ready for belt change time.
edit: "2180g of the factory WRX unit and 2575g for the STi model".
So looks like Matty sent you a STi pulley maybe .
