yes u can but you would be better going for a ihi vf 22 spools up quick as the td05 are a bit laggy

You need some supporting mods or at least check they are upto scratch. Not as simple as just bolting on a bigger turbo and a remap. Eg fuel pump, injectors, intercooler.

Your wagon should be running 220 ps as std on jap fuel, even with 97 superunleaded should still be around 205 - 210 bhp. Depending on what supporting mods you add should see the car upto around the power it had when it left the factory and a bit more.
Regarding fitting a td05 you can do this as it will bolt straight on and then you can have an esl fitted and have it mapped accordingly. The other alternative is to buy a Z4 ecu and replace it with your std unit. This along with your tdo5 and some decent supporting mods should see you up and beyond 260 bhp.,and a slightly slower spool up time compared to your td04, but a lot more mid range power and higher boost levels.

Thanks guys,
The engine is forged so hope to get decent power from it with catback exhaust and afterbuner back box, will def neede a fuel pump as well, i like the idea of putting a z4 ecu n TD05 on then prob getting it mapped as well once ive sorted intake, fuel pump, de-cat etc my target bhp is 300!

You cant get the Z4 ecu mapped, you can add a polar performance chip to it ,to increase the boost and bhp,but depending on who you listen to this can be a good/bad thing to do. A uprated fuel pump is a good move whenever your looking to increase your power from std,and if you are looking at getting 300 bhp then the esl is probably the safest option to go for or possibly a sim tec ecu. With a td05 fitted you should make 300 bhp comfortably once mapped.

Ok cool think i will keep my ecu then and go the esl route, didn't relise the z4 cant be mapped.
Glad the TD05 shud see 300bhp tho.
Am a bit dissapointed with the performance after spending 1500 on the engine and spending about 80 hours building and flowing the heads!
