Apexi AVC-R digital boost controller?
Hi guys,
Anybody know much about these? I am going to look at a car this weekend which has one fitted on a 04 reg wrx apparently it has been set-up correctly but i dont know much about cause is there any issues i should be aware of apart from this unit everything else is standard as far as im aware.
Is there safe boost parameters this thing should be set to?
If i was to have the car mapped would the boost controller need re-setting up?
Regards
Matt

Had it once, works like a charm. Setups quite easy, max dutycycle on spool, and then fine tune the rest of the rpm scale.
Depends on the method of mapping really, but mostly you try to map at least 2-3 boost ranges, depending on the setup and boost level.

Hi
These are a great piece of kit once set up. I fitted one to my last car(evo 7) and it was real useful to have a low and high boost setting. My advice would be not to play about with the settings if the car is holding boost.
