Wink Prodrive Brake Caliper Help And Info Needed?

Hi...

I have only had my first scooby for about a month. so im quite a beginner..

basically a friend of a friend used to own a P1 and has offered me these..

I Know they are Prodrive Brake Calipers..

I Have a 1999 turbo 2000.. would these replace the standerd calipers on my car?

Does anyone know much about these... and how much are these worth?

thanks jamie

Give them a good clean up and see what condition the seals and bleed nipples are in. If they need relpacing the kit from Alcon isn't cheap. Also bear in mind that you wont get much (if any) change from £500 for discs and pads. The GB on brand new K-Sport full kit is for £700 IIRC....

Wasn't this a big-disc conversion?

The men to ask are Alyn at AS Performance, or Ian at Godspeed Brakes.
Both post on here.

They're the ones yes.

These are a bigger disc than the OE 4 pots and a better caliper. Alyn does 2 piece replacement discs

wont fit on the std 294mm disc you have currently as they utilize a 330mm disc............you'll also need to give them a good clean/check as they are very corroded

without discs and in that condition i would say they would have to be reasonably cheap to make it worthwhile IMO
