from the purge control valve, one pipe goes into the manifold and the second just near the trottle body to the front carbon canister. what is the little metal pipes called that are for the purge pipe to connect on?

fuel pipes??? im not sure thou otherwise the fuel will be getting lost from there

 

Metal vacum pipes, when the pcv opens it pushes all the air etc from the canister into the inlet manifold.
