hi people just bought my first subaru 1993 wrx and checked everything seemed fine on the motorway home the check enginge light came on for 30 secs driving normally then got out side my house and the cars temp had gone over the halfway stage then i just turned car of can anyone tell me what to donext or what may be up

 

do the electric fans kick in,and did the car boil over,theres a section on here on how to check fault codes,were are u based

 

in lancashire,after it overheated turned car of and started it about an hour later and everythings fine

 

id still check fault code as the cel light dont flash up for nothing
