Default Rocker cover leak

Hi all, I took my version 1 sti out for a bit of spirited B road driving last nite and when I got I noticed that a very oily smell was comin from the engine bay! I assumed I had pretty much finished off my very tired standard turbo. However, on further investigation in the daylight I discovered that there is oil coming from what I think is the passenger side rocker cover. Currently, the car is unmodified but im slowly accumultaing the parts I need to take her to 350bhp.

So, heres my question (finally!) do I need to pay extra to get a proper subaru rocker cover gasket or will I be ok to just replace it with a cheaper version??

Thanks, all advice greatly appreciated!!

It will haver to be a subaru gasket mate. You'll struggle to find a cheaper replacement and from what ive heard, they wont last long anyway. The original gaskets are suprisingly cheap and a doddle to fit.

Yeah my drivers side one started just after i got it, only changed that side and all has been well since, both sides.
Where you booked in at?
I live on Brunswick and she is parked on the road now I'm not happy but...
She's not bad for her age, same age as yours for a guess Gonna be looking a little better next week, just got a set of OE spats/splash guards to go on.

Is that you in the silver with blue graphics??
