Sorry to go on about this topic, it's just that i am away to fit a scooby sport decat and am getting scared about all this talk of boost spikes etc. The car has the PPP and a replacement air filter, am i likely to encounter any major problems once the decat is fitted or should it all be sweet????

Any help would be good.

Cheers

Ive an MY00 PPP with full decat system, and to be honest you may suffer from a little over boost but the PPP chip has a fuel cut out so you wont do any damage to your engine im not sure if the restrictor plug is different on your car to the 99/00's as these have Phase 2 engines compared to the Phase 1 engine in your car, but id speak to John Banks to see if hes had anyone come to him re 97/98 PPP'd cars.
