Default Radiator hose - Could i make/buy this here

Hi All

Need some advise. I wanted to buy this for the scooby.

http://www.mishimoto.com/aluminum-ho...ru-wrx-01.html

After speaking to them, its gonna cost £150 plus import tax.

Thinking of trying to make it myself. Try and get some hose's (possibly samco) made to measure and then find some metal workers that can bend the pipe etc.

Advice please, anyone know people who could help me on this or am I waisting my time and will end up more expensive.

Thanks All
Gez

BUT: the radiator is fixed rigidly to the bodywork, the engine is on flexible mounts. Just watch what the engine does on revving up/overrun. AND it moves when the car goes over bumps.

Your top hose gives to allow that.

Would the connecting hoses not give it enough flex for the movement. I wouldnt have a pipe that was totally rigid - understood about the engine and rad movement

2x Samco 90 degree elbows and 1x straight stainless pipe. That would give you extra flex and also remove the need to have the stainless bent.

Just another option for you.

Thought about this but thought the bent pipe would look better. But now the issue of flex has come up - I'm gonna go this route

Two 90 samco bends and a straight pip. Last thing I wanna do is make something that will break or cause damage

Thanks for all the advice guys
