Default STI hatchback rear spoilers for diesel scoobs

Does anyone know of any decent suppliers for STI or WRXS rear spoilers? I've got a diesel scoob and want to get it looking a bit more like the STIs, but am having a nightmare trying to find decent parts.

ATM I've got a japspeed one fitted, but it's not a perfect fit and doesn't kick upwards like the proper ones do.

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've tried emailing breakers yards but all to no avail, and have heard bad things about nengun (poor communication, excessive delivery times etc).

LordHarding I think you've been blessed with the gift of a good local dealer. The parts dept in my local is a nightmare to order anything from, maybe that's because it's a combined subaru/isuzu/daihatsu place.

Anyways your car is looking very nice, am I right in thinking you've had it remapped aswell?

I may know of a Genuine sti spoiler coming off a car in 2 weeks time But would require painting, would you be interested in a deal for you standard diesel spoiler ??

Painting it wouldn't be a problem as I'm quite friendly with a local bodyshop, but surely if its coming off a car it will already be painted.

How much would you be looking for?

They're the most individual 5 door hatchback about. I've had mine since august and have seen very few in that entire time.

Requires you standard spoiler in order to fit a wrc wing the std one is allot shorter you see, the sti one is a little too long for it and looks daft.

Rob I'm also intending to get some GT1 wheels in bright flitter finish, with uniroyal rainsport tyres fitted. I imagine you'd also be able to supply that stuff aswell?

No worries, pm me when you know more about it and we'll go from there. Sounds like a good deal for both parties though.

With regards to the wheels I'll likely be in contact once the warmer weather returns. Much prefer to bash my 17s than some nice new 18s.

Hi

Good to see rob is looking after you
GT1 wheels are super especially in gold
Get the tints and STi grill
It will totally transform the car

Bob rawel has I think the soft wear to remap diesels so maybe a chat with him will give you smiles and 45mog of course

Once mines out of warranty a twin exhaust and firmer springs to sort out the boat ride will help it too
At this years Nbo we will be having all the new age hatches in the arena for the best hatch competion

Get yourself over to the gallery and check out some amazing pictures and the American scooby forum for some great ideas

And to think 2years ago all the hatch haters used to laugh now they are joining us !

LH,

Ye I do love the gold wheels, however my dads got a Hawkeye STI Type UK, so we've already got a set in the family haha, and yep I'm getting the rear and boot tints sorted soon.

How did you fit your mesh? The standard grille has the plastic bar across it, and from what I can see that is all moulded into the same unit. However in your pics I cant see it, so I'm a little confused as to what you have done.

Admittedly in the beginning I was a hatch hater lol, funny how a couple of years later I bought one.

How are you finding your MPG? Mine's settled now around 37, however most of my driving is country lanes and I tend to drive it quite hard. Its definitely getting quicker as time goes by though, especially in 2nd and 3rd.

The grill was a complete modle which came from a STi that Glen from revolution had

Cost direct from Subaru £330 but there is a few available secondhand if you check eBay ,normal dealers spare cupboards etc

Takes a hour to fit there is great video on utube how to do it with the bumper off

Economy seems poor

First 10k miles averaged 42 mpg
10k -18 k now averageing 44.4 mpg 500 per tank sometimes can get 48/49 on a long journey but most of my driving is fast 10 mile blasts to work and back Inc town driving

Getting faster first 6k miles tight then after rob did his magic first 12k service it was so much faster then at 18 k the engine has got a lot looser like a different engine althogether which is similar to my rover and octavia diesels from new

Older they get the faster they become and also economy too

Torque is amazing and keeps up with the green classic and boys 350z
