Default One wiper not working

i have a 06 sti spec d and one of the wipers the drivers side has stoppped working it moves about 2 inchs up when wipers are on any ideas the other side is fine if you turn off the engine you can move the drivers side wiper up and down by hand not much resistance

It'll be the nut that holds the wiper arm onto the mech.

The nut is under the rubber cap at the bottom of the wiper arm

As above, lift bonnet, lift rubber cap, ENSURE WIPER IS IN CORRECT POSITION, retighten nut, replace cap.
