Default What sealant for Headlights

My Blobeye headlights have been de-tangoed by a previous owner and now mist up. I take it, it is because they have'nt been resealed properly? What sealant do I need and where can I get any from.

Thanks

In the Tech Archive section is this thread. It may help you.

If replacing the mastic you will require some thing like this, a non-setting 'mastic'. Hth.

Try Carafax grey, available from caravan dealers and some halfords.

Or a thermal softening one, as used in the OE fitment.

Before you do it though make sure the light units have been dried properly.
