Default dump valve freezing shut

Im sick of this cold now, the car performance in the cold I like but when in minus temp the dv will freeze either open or closed. Really doing my head in.

Noticed mine was not opening as readily, as above quick squirt of the old wonder spray did the trick.

what DV you got fitted ?

Get rid put the recirc back on problem solved i did nrver looked back bailey is now in the bin...!

I take it these are aftermarket items.

Says it all in my opinion.

Alot of "performance" branded replacement parts always seem to be inferior to the original OE items when it comes to quality and durabilty - despite the expense

I've got one of them hybrid valves that dumps some of the air back into the inlet, or so I am led to believe. I must admit I do like the sound, just adds to the turbo soundtrack for me. However, had it no already been on the car I dont think I would have forked out for one,
