Default urgent help needed

hi people i have a subaru wrx jdm turbo my95 import,
for the last few weeks had a problem with it running rought, today i found out it was the plugs so changed them and just took the car out for a spin,i drove the car up the street a few times opening her up but i noticed there was a fair bit of blue smoke coming out of the back, then all of a sudden my window screen was covered in oil stopped the car and the dip stick was hanging out,and oil everywere, the car never overheated at all and dont seem to be usein water, but as my car is fitted with simtek the temp never moves anyway.i did just take the dip stick out before i took the car out and not sure if i put it back in correctly but would this cause the oil to expload out of there like it did or is it head gasket or bottom end,any advise would be much appricated kind regards ben

maybe oil breathers blocked and its built up pressure and blown dipstick out, as for the blue smoke out of the back, was more then likely from the engine bay more then the exhaust.

yeah, clean it all up, im guessing the engine bay will smoke until its burn all the waste oil off, clean the breather pipes out, most probably gone a bit creamy with the oil and moisture, just make sure dipsticks in nice and tight and give it another go, maybe go easy at 1st

Yes, not replacing the dip-stick correctly can cause oil to be forced out of the tube.

Another cause is a blocked or fudged PCV valve.

This thread shows the locations of the breathers.

it's also a possibility that you've encountered excessive blow by. if this is the case a new lump or a rebuild is your only option.

I'd refill with oil check and clean the breathers as advised as this isn't gonna cost you anything, but if this dosen't change anything and the car still plays up then blow by is a likely suspect.

i had this problem on my old car , ended up been 3 cracked pistons. car drove mint off boost but blew the dipstick out and spat its oil everytime i come on full boost.
you should be able to tell by just starting the car and taking the dipstick out if theres a problem down there it will be breathing out the hole which mean something blocked or bottom end funked!
