Default mapping?!?

just read threw all the pages on getting your car mapped with a front mount and that and i have a 2002 sti, everyone says ecutek is the best way but i have hird from a tuner that a uni-chip is far better and you can get more gains, has anyone got this or hird of it?

stick with ecutek you will not go wrong

i would prefer open source mapping as it can be adjusted for different mods at differnt times and its not locked with a pin, i don't see any point in chipping a newage ecu, as far as i know a chip has a map on it and goes into the ecu.

Duncan at Race dynamix is excellent at mapping and can offer plenty of options

Ues the OEM ECU, no need to fit things you dont need.

Definitely don't fit the unichip as the STD ecu is by far and away the best ecu for the job and will offer the greatest flexibility for mods, safety and power. Mapping the original ecu will also work out cheaper.

Open source all the way with ur car

A few mappers do it now FB Tuning in Maidenhead does it not sure on his prices
