mapped on v-power, can i use other high octane fuel ?
hi all,
the car was mapped on Shell V-Power, can it be run on other higher octane fuels ? bp ultimate / tesco higher octane stuff ????.

as long as its the same octane as v power which the tesco 99 is,then it should be ok.

good news for me too, V-Power going for £1.31 a litre. Getting so expensive now

V-power and Tesco 'Momentum' are 99 octane.
BP is 97...
..for the same price as v power, not worth it, and dont touch if you have a 99 map.
There are rumours that 101 is coing into shell soon...but that maby hear say...

Its insane, the other day i paid £1.25, now it's £1.30...my scoob is becoming more a garden ornament than a car...

My cars set up for v-power and v-power and 25% meth, so i wil continue to use that.
Tesco must have improved there fuel alot as i remember people having problems usuing it.

my car was setup 3 years ago for V-power, but means as it's a car and not the space shuttle, i took a huge risk and started to use tesco 99, it hasn't blown up yet.

ran mine on momentum the other day as there was no vpower(mapped for) car did not like it atall throtle responce was bad until i got hold of some vpower
