Default wrx cdb short motor

hi all how much would people be willing to pay for 94 wrx short engine closed deck done 51k it need no3 piston replacing due to coil pack failure causing a crack on the piston (diagnosed today) i was running 1.2 bar and all was good well still is it just misses on part throttle/ pootling around in traffic if i drive it on clear roads its fine and compression test made 150psi on that cylinder so not too shabby its just the idle/low revs it struggles but i would be more than happy to take u out in it and show it runs fine above 3k.

i am going to put a fully forged cdb in but just seeing how much i can get back for this one. i know engine builders pay 320-350 for a completely knackered cdb but this one is all good apart from one piston.

knackered or not, which yours is knackered they will only pay x amount of money and still have the same work involved, and probably scrap the old internals.

Its knackered, there could be bore damage in which case you have a nice bit of scrap metal there, and the internals on those cdb's were probably the weakest of the lot out of the classic shaped impreza.
