Hi, can anyone help, i have a 2005 WRX STI Type UK, and fitted a turbo back afterburner decat system and vortex back box, i done this while i had the box out to get the noisey diff bearings replaced, and also fitted a scoobyworld lightened flywheel and excedy clutch, now when i am on light cruising throttle the car stutters lightly but it is very noticable and annoying, the engine light came on a few times reference the lambda probe after the cat, i have heard this can be a problem with the mil light because i have removed the Cats or mabee the lightened flywheel? and if so will a remap cure this? which i am gonna do next! cheers Johnny Moore

Take it for your remap. They should check that all the sensors are working first which I suspect is the problem. Or you could read the fault codes yourself and see if anything comes up?

Its probably not a very happy car, cold weather = increased boost, decat = increased boost and det, engine = boom! new engine/rebuild = 3k, remap = 600 quid.

So, dont use your car until its booked for a remap as you may well just blow it up in the meantime

I have just found out that if I put the DCCD button off auto to any other setting it seems to cure the problem,I'm wondering has the gearbox
Man done anything when he was doing the diff bearings?
