Have to change diff due to ratio, but v5 and v6 typers dont need anything else changed, not sure on older versions

Aren't they physically the same, just a different ratio ?

P.S. So swap the diff itself, but leave the shafts and brakes as is...

The rear diff ratio on a type r R180 diff is 4.444, the spec c hawkeye box needs a rear diff ratio of 3.9. You will only need to change the diff to use the gearbox but R180 3.9 rear diff's aint cheap, I paid £450 for mine.

You will need a prop from an automatic classic as it is the correct length and yes get the diff and everything else will be fine
