hi I have a my96 classic turbo wagon it has been stood for a year anyway i got it back on the road last week and my speedo n revs work fine but its not clocking up any miles or anything on the trip meter i think it was working before i took it to the mot station but someone pushed the reset button on trip meter....can someone tell me if its a separate cable for the miles or is it the clocks that have gone **** up any advise would be great

There is only 1 cable from the gearbox to speedo, don't know how the drive from it is distributed inside the clocks though. Suspect something has maybe seized or frozen inside the clocks while it has been standing. Might be possible to open them up, I used to have a wrx and the odometer got stuck, it was replaced with a used one from another set of clocks.

I have a set of clocks off a uk sport which you are welcome to try if it will help you, I'm in Warrington so not too far away.
