Default Help Plz,

Hi,

i have a 1995 v2 wrx, everytime i kick in the turbo at about 5000rpm, it starts to splutter , iv changed a coil pack as 1 was craked, spark plugs and fuel filter but im still having the same problem,

today i checked my dump valve has a leak in the pipe, and the airbox pipe has a big whole in it as in sumat was ment to be in there,

could that be my problem to splutter each time turbo kik in

If the hole in the induction pipe is after the air flow meter then yes it could very well be the problem as the ecu wouldn't be registering the air through the hole that is drawn in.
