Default Turbo Timer Fitment

Hi,
Im considering buying a GREDDY turbo timer and there is a plastic connection on the end of it. does this there for just plug in stright away? no messing with wires

Hi there possibly look for HKS Type 0(Type 1 is little bit pricey around 130£) and buy harness for Subaru HKS turbo timer Harness(these cost around 15£ from Sumo Power).
I have HKS Type 0 and is literally easy to fit/no cutting cables...

Most people don't use turbo timer,this really depend on people opinion,but like my brother told me,its just for piece of mind.

better to drive the last few miles to keep ALL fluids circulating, than to sit idling. save your money and just take it easy last few miles

Save your money. A TT on an Impreza engine is completely useless

A turbo timer on any engine is a waste of time imho, it is far better to drive off boost for the last couple of miles as tidgy says ,because you will still have air coming through the scoop to aid cooling the turbo,as well as the oil & water circulating through the turbo. My current car still has the original label on the drivers door saying that after heavy motorway driving, allow the engine to idle for a few minutes before switching off engine.

Cheers for the help. i normally am off boost at the minute for the last few miles so i dont have to sit in my car with the engine on ha

What you're doing now will do way more for cooling than a TT could ever hope for

i was going to ask the same question as to whether to get one or not as i am new to the subaru, i think taking it steady for the last few miles sounds better,

Hi there drive few miles(2-3 miles) off the boost before you are stopping car,much better than turbo timer and save you little money.
