never had the recirc. got a hks dv. runing a fmic .got a boost problem, not holding boost 1.8 dropping to 1.5 been told it could be inlet hose .getting a new one from mark at lateral, his has all the small pipes on the side of it removed so just a straight through pipe ,so can not fit recirc on to it .as the dv is old ,going to replace it with a new one just to make sure there is no problem with it

Has it ever held 1.8?? Could be mapped to tail off to 1.5 at redline.

Start off by blanking off your dump vakve to prove that is actually the problem.
Chances are it is not.
Forge VTA DV is simple reliable and relatively cheap.

Had one on mine for eight years now, IIRC.

Has seen 2 bar of boost now and then...

dunx

P.S. I fitted the strongest spring from the service kit so it ONLY works at WOT under serious abuse, round town it's as good as a blanking plate. IMHO.

Sorry to hijack the thread but...

Bat, your running without a dump valve arent you iirc? Does that affect the map on the PP chip? Ive binned my baileys, just want to make sure its will be ok running a dv delete on the PP chip.

Yeah you remember correctly.
Nothing noticeable musso. As i said, it only vented on WOT(ish) anyhoo so will/should not effect open loop running, and i still get pops on gear changes

I will get it logged when the weather/time permits, but only expect a tiny change if any at all. (i still have the OE in the shed should i need it)

No worries. I'll be flashing/waving at all the TP wagons now, do apologise to your colleagues in advance.
