Afpr power rating?
Been looking at the sard adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it says it's rated to 380bhp, now I'm trying to see how it can be rated as surely injector size, pump type etc will be the main factors.
Can anyone help? Surely you don't rate them power wise?
Cheers
Chris

Thanks, doesn't quite answer it but makes me think more that the 380bhp they rate it at isn't right and on my setup with approx 900cc injectors and a 255lp/h pump then I won't have a problem with the 430bhp I'm running now

The type s is the one I have seen that is rated at 380 according to an add for it, thats the reason for my question is that I can't quite see how a pressure regulator can be power rated unless it's possibly something to do with the flow through it

Hi Chris what i know everything depend on diameter of regulator, here is form one website SARD FRP (Type RJ) - Large Sized regulator 66mm X 92mm For high power applications over 500ps
And here is link

Ok thanks, so it is down to the flow rate, so my next step is to look at the type s and see if that's what they call the normal on that site. Main reason is that I don't want to spend out 180ish on a fuel lab regulator to find out that it's not my regulator that needs changing
