Default Anyone using Mobil1 ESP Formula 5W-30

I`ve used Mobil1 for years and been very happy with it. However I`ve just got a 2006 WRX and from what I have read on here there is some doubt over the suitability of 0W-40.
I see Mobil now have Mobil1 ESP 5W-30...will this be suitable and anyone tried it yet?

Thanks

magnatec oil is just a general run of the mill oil for standard cars low to medium power, ford fiestas focuses etc. not high power turbo boxer engines. If you were to use any castrol oil it would be castrol EDGE. The best they do1 my car is a 2006 sti and after reading about various engine failures ill be changing oil every 3,000 miles for peace of mind. Im using amsoil at the min but next time will be using red line oils 5w-30.
I would seriously get that magnatec out and some good oil in. if in doubt speak to opie oils!

Magnatec is a no no for these engines. My sti4 on standard eng runnig 400hp on a meth mix has allways had millers 10/60. Everyone has their own preferences on oil choice, but i would defo go for a better spec of oil than castrol magnatec.
