Hi i own a 2004 wrx impreza and i have recently fitted a upper de-cat pipe just after the turbo, i keep having the engine managerment light come up on the dash and when i plug the ecu in the computer it reads " Catalist performace before bank one " basically sayin the cat it not working, but i have removed the cat.

I have had the Code wiped, but it just come back up with the engine managerment light

Is there a way to fix this problem? i have heard of a CEL FIX but i am not sure what it is? and how it fixes the problem?

Hi Ryan best bet for you will be get car remapped for piece of mind and little more power.
If not try contact here mappers(Neil case@Slowboy racing,Rich@FB Tuning,JGM,Duncan@Racedynamix) for deleting/disabling the error via PC/Laptop.

 

Ok thanks i will contact them to see who is near me, am i able to remap the standard ecu?

Hi Ryan your ECU is mappable and with remap you can see 280BHP.

 

I can permenantly disable the code, and custom map your ecu for you.
