hi guys....starting with a simple mod....if i change the up pipe only in my bugeye wrx (other mods will follow in the future) for a "decat" version which has an inbuilt plug for the sensor..egt, to go into...)
1....will i need a remap of any kind ( to avoid a possibility of boost spikes etc....)...?
2....will it make the car slightly more drivable..

yes remap to make car safe, any decat is benificial, don't buy one off ebay, the make more lag, harveys your man, also bugeye wrx's had a design fault that when you increased the power the cat broke off inot the turbo so a decat would avoid this.
