Hey all,only had my 54 STI a week now,but in the morning or if not used for a day or 2 i get a beeping when starting.Either the alarm goes off for bout half a second or just get a loud beep,car starts bit slowly but it is freakin cold at the mo.
Any ideas ? I`m thinking maybe the battery but don`t want to buy a new one if not needed thnx

 

battery, defo, happened to me, first it gives the odd bleep in the mornin, more so on cold days then the alarm blips now n then, plus the turnover should be noticably slower.new battery fixed the problem.

 

Same as my car when the battery was on the way out

 

+1. Replace it before it leaves you stranded like it did me!

 

dead battery, but make sure the alternator is charging also. no point buying a new battery for it to go dead also after a while

It depends where you get it, I've found the halfords batterys to be quite good and i think you get a 3 year warranty with them...
