I have an 03 bugeye STi there is a clunk when taking up drive it only seems to happen after braking, if the car rolls to a halt there is no clunk when setting off, the noise seems to be coming from the NS front wheel. Any ideas ?

Hi mate, could be possibliy the front NS strut. Maby even the sqeal plate behind your brake pads when you slow down to go up the drive.

Wishbone bushes or arb bushes possibly?
