thinking of taking my fmic off as i miss the very little lag it used to have but how much power can the old sti silver slanty style intercooler take safely or should i go whole hog and reverse inlet and shorten pipes

I didnt notice much lag after changing from tmic to fmic. Has it been mapped since fmic was fitted.

yeah mapped since fmic been on 2yrs nearly full boost just under 4k about 3800-3900 in 3rd 1.2bar standard td05 top fed turbo with full decat bellmouth downpipe and magnex mid and back box 255lph pump k&n custom intake esl live has made 301 on dyno at scooby clinic over a year ago
