Default Orange Maf!

Just wondering if the orange labeled maf from a 1995 classic will work with my 1997 Legacy GTB? Iv got an orange one.

Yes, i think they are the same unit. The Impreza orange label is part No. 22680 AA271 A36-612 R71

Ok iv been on the look out for a while now and every time i find an orange maf its been sold.I cant post in the wanted section so i thought id ask here.

So could you guys help me out and let me know if you or a friend has one for sale. pm me or call on 07908684626

Orange label maf, only came on the MY97 and 98 sti's not a 1995 classic

Its not standard on a 95 car. The orange label maf can be fixed, i,ve fixed one before, it depends whats wrong with it. If you open it up you will probably see where the solder has ran, you just nned to re solder and coat if it has this problem.. worth a shot, where are ye based..

Iv done the diy job, took off the old solder, re soldered the pins and everything. it worked out fine for about 3 weeks now it wont start at all! How can I check the grey plug connector/wires for fault/damage? This is the only thing I havnt checked? I don't have a vaultage reader either.

Coat or seal with hot glue..

Did you not read the thread that smokingkills put up showing you the way he done it. Thats basixally what i had to do, providing this is whats wrong with yours...

Ok, I get you. I coated certain parts of the board but not the 3 pins that I soldered. I'll take it out again. But in the mean time between time if there are any for sale please contact me
