Gauge Sensor Adptor - Help
Does anyone know where to pick up a sensor adaptor.
It allows the standard oil sensor and a gauges sensor to the location behind the alternator.
What's the proper name of this, and can anyone get hold of one for me?

If you have one of the small Defi type oil pressure senders, then it will fit in place of the OE item, in the 17mm hex threaded adaptor bung already fitted to the block, under the alternator. - You may need to run a tap through the original bung to slightly enlarge the already tapered thread.
I would install it in place of, and discard the original sender, as you're fitting a gauge to monitor the pressure anyway, and it negates the need for an unsightly oil line adaptor.
Tape up and insulate the standard spade connector and you won't see the original oil warning light come on.

Yeah, thoughts of using a sarnie plate went a while back. If I'm not mistaken, the oil temp sensor placement on the blank plate above cylinder 3 is best because 3 runs hotter than the rest.... I hope I'm right atleast...lol...
Think i'll wait till I receive my gauges and stuff before I go buying anything, especially if I can use the existing bung for my sensor....
Rich, I may have to borrow that tap of yours, could save me a pretty penny. BTW, got the solinoid off maggs, thanks for that mate...
