Default Exhaust options

I have a GGR 3 inch system but I want to make it a little louder as it is really quiet.
If I replace the centre section to a de-resonated pipe , I know it will make it louder but does it have any performance advantages at all?
I know it wont be much but surely the exhaust gasses flow better?

OR : should I just change the back box ?

any help appreciated.

Try changing the centre resonator section first as this should aid spool up of the turbo and make the system a touch louder. If then it is still not loud enough to your liking you can replace the backbox for a blitz, vortex, haywood & scott , etc IMHO
