Its that easy. Not just for a ninja, for any back box.
It'll be self explanitory when you get under there.

Dead easy, remove 2 x bolts, replace gasket if you need to,wd40 on the rubbers and they slide straight off, backbox is off.. I never even bothered jacking my car up when i fitted the ninja 2 to my classic

best to have a good look at the flange from under the car, and youll be able to judge how rusty/rotten the 2 bolts are .

maybe even give them a wire brush and soak with wd 40 the night before you are planning to fit the backbox.

if they look really rusty, and you dont have the facilities, ie : ramp and oxy acetalene to burn them off, then phone about the local garages and see if one can fit it for you, although they might be a bit reluctant to do it as youre supplying the exhaust, but if you phone a few then one should do it for you.

however the gasket kit from scoobyworld is a wise buy before you touch it, and its cheap.

good luck with fitting
