Gauge will move up as you create boost and dip as you change gear. It wont just jump to 1.5 bar and sit there.

It should boost just under 1 bar if you look at the technical section im sure ive read about other gauges doing the same and they ended up missing some sort of filter type thing which is what caused this

get a decent gauge matey, try an electrical one with a sender unit like a defi stepper generic copy.

Alternatively have you got a little filter fitted in the boost line somewhere? most decent boost gauges come with one that stops the "fluttering"

Neither! If you haven't got Defi money, which over-read slightly, get something that has a reputation - not over priced crap.

just realised the link goes to the home page, click on accessories and scroll down to the restrictor t piece. I cut the restrictor nipple off and put inside the vacuum line going to the gauge.

Yes that is fine, '-' is vacuum, as opposed to '+' which is boost. It should rise to 0 (ish) with a blip of the throttle.

It did as you said When i blip the throttle it goes up to 0(ish) and it shows it boosting right up to 1 bar now. But still hot the annoying buzz and the needle shakes

Still getting a decent one though cos the colours annoy me. It scrolls through 7 colours
