I think it depends on what engine your using. I.e smaller engine would be better of with 0.63 etc. I stand to be corrected though.

I'd not expect to see a great deal happening below 5000 RPM

Lucky that you won't. You got all the rotated pipework already?

Phil, weird that you purchased the turbo, then asked what size to get?
Cant help thinking this should have been the other way around.

Simon is running 665bhp on his car using race fuel, I have a rotated GT30R on my 2 litre and nothing much below 4k revs.

I have a gt35r on mine with a .63 housing but if I were to choose a turbo setup again I doubt it would be rotated. Its gonna cost a lot of money to support that turbo and going 2.5ltr with it is a really bad move as its gonna kill it.

That block wasn't your 1st choice though as it was just circumstance that made you go that way, my 2.5 lasted for a while before my turbo killed it

Actually Steve, it was my choice.
I had another CDB in my garage if i wanted to go down the linered route again. I didnt want the hassle of dropped liner and having to build it for a second time. Happy with my choice.

The linered route is a bad idea as you just know they will drop sometime.

Pinned 2.5s are the way forward for a strong block less liners, eh Daz

Mines staying on the spec c cams mate. So i'll throw as much boost at it till it stops making power. After that its gonna stay as is. I dont thinki can be arsed with swapping cams.
