yay!!
after its taken me two weeks to do the headgaskets, some may know i put the cams in the wrong way round saturday!! spent yesterday changing them around, it started to get dark when i finished and it still would not start
went out this afternoon and ayyyyyyy!! forgot to put the ht leads back on
put them on and hey presto it fired up!! running fine.
so drove round the block came back and it running a bit bad, so i checked the timing marks and top right one is out a tooth?? whys it done that??
its dark now so going to look in the morning.
but hey at least it was running!! felt good driving round the block

Glad its up and running now youve fitted the cams in the correctly
Start at the crank and go anti clockwise to fit the belt and when its all timed up, fit the tensioner and pull the locking pin from the tensioner.
Rotate the engine by hand clockwise 360 degrees and recheck the timing marks line up on the pulleys (ignore the belt marks as they will be out).

cheers mick, was thinking and it would make sense to go anticlockwise as the slack would be by the tensioner when putting around last one. yesterday done it clockwise as thats what he done on youtube!
but glad it was running ok and never done any damage
