Default head help please

since putting thread for ver3 sti heads, had many offers of different types

1st sti newage (blobeye) £25
2nd sti ver1 (with under bucket shims) £100
3rd ver3 sti £320
these are to go on my 1993 wrx with cdb, along with sti ver3 pistons, reverse inlet manifold.

in short which ones would be best ?

1) STi Newage are AVEX heads and have a different bolt pattern on the Inlet manifold to your 1993 WRX so would take some work to fit.
2) STi version 1~2 had hydraulic buckets (STi V2 RA had under bucket shims and are quite good heads) so not the best choice for a Power build but will bolt straight on.
3) STi Version 3 with a mild port and tidy up will bolt straight on and would be my choice if i was doing it.

It would be the v3 sti heads for me..

Is that the wrong price youve put up for the newage sti heads at £25. If thats what they are selling for i would be wary at that price as they may be damaged. Or is that just for the bare heads without cams and valves..
