fault code test

as above can i do the test when she is running only because i have fault 22..knock...24...idle air control solenion and 33...vss/2 so i assume because the engine is not running i will get faults 22 and 33 is this right or do i have these faults. thanks

no the faults won't be because engine not running.

try a reset and then see if an error code reoccurs/which one.. sometimes errorcodes are triggered by others either linked or because the ecu cannot be sure.

hi mate,yes done a reset and all three have codes have come back..i can get another knock no probs,VSS/2 what is it and where is it? can i clean the idle air control soleniod or is this a new unit? thanks
