Default whats standard boost psi

Hi ive just fitted a boost gauge on a 2001 bugeye wrx,on idle its on about 20 hgs on full boost your lucky to reach 15 psi is this normal the car is completely standard thanks for any advice

I think normal is around 1.0-1.3 bar.Try booting it in 5th gear and see what you have.You'll require more boost in the higher gear range.

14.6 psi = 1bar

so 15 psi is a little over 1.1 bar

It would help more if it was right.

1 BAR is approx 14.5 PSI

Therefore

15 PSI is 1.03 BAR

if im correct,, bugeye wrx should boost just under a bar??

Thanks everyone it looks like its not far off then,i wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong as its going to be decatted and remapped.
