i know people ask this all the time since the site started lol but buying oil today is it best to get 5w-40 synthetic millers etc or 10w-40
go onto opie oils website & you can put in your car details & they will give you a choice of replacement or better oil to use. Most people use them as they give club member discounts - also known as the 'Oilman' on here.

the site says for ym 2002 sti prodrive should use 10w-50 but thats not what i read on here? i suppose everyone has the opinion as long as its a decent oil probably not matter eh
Our site recommendations are a bit odd at times, ignore that, we're working on getting it right. Go for a good 5w-40

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs Supersyn and Mobil Synt S are good, cheaper alternatives.
Cheers
