Are these both the same electrical connector at the harness end? pics are taken from RCM website, for a v5 knock sensor and a v3-4 knock sensor. they both look the same except one shows bottom & the other the top of the connector

which means i can use either knock sensor from either to fit into a 99 uk turbo

hi,the version 5 plug is different...i purchaced one off e-bay to replace mine ,it was different and as the wiring is "ohm resistant" (garage term ?)you cannot cut the plug off one to use on another...i still have the ver 5 knock sensor open to offers...
