gearbox question

I tried posing on the drive train bit but no luck so here goes,

can a 2.5 and a 2.0 bolt to the same gearbox are are they not compatable?

What year 2.0? 2.5?

Hi Darc
its more the motor end, im selling an adapter for a porsche gear box and its for an ej20 but have been asked if its the same mounts as an ej257
