Default WTF K-Sport Rear Fitting

So i was just fitting my K-Sport rear kit, well trying, and i come across a problem.
I removed the rear stone guard fine, and the disc went on fine, but then when it came to putting the bracket on it started hitting on the hub.
I thought i'll bend the hub (It's more of a back plate to the hub.) slightly, the bracket fitted, but as a result the disc didn't go on all the way and sit properly?

Anyone else have this problem, it looks like i need to cut the rear hub slightly?

Thanks

I tthink you have to remove the entire backing plate for most brake kits to fit.
The plate is useless imho, as it actually keeps cool air from cooling the brake disc.
