If you've fitted a front mount intercooler, did you already have an induction kit fitted (and mapped in), or did you have to fit one as part of your FMIC install?

Have you had the ECU mapped properly for whatever configuration you are now running?

You may as well take them all back off again and see if you can get the car running properly in standard trim.

There's little, if any, point having it on the car as long as you are sticking with the VF24 turbo and an aftermarket mappable. There's no point whatsoever having it on if you are trying to make do with the standard management while you save up for an aftermarket unit.

Even if you can get your immediate running problem fixed, you will never get it running right. By slowly, methodically stripping it all back off and returning the car to standard, you should be able to notice firstly whether, as Kevin has already suggested, you've got a misplaced or leaking pipe, or whether there's something else wrong - like accidentally breaking the airflow meter while you were changing stuff.

And yes, I know it's a PITA undoing all of what you've just done. The bottom line is that it'd have been better to have asked before you changed it all.

Whatever you get, don't hang about. The longer you drive the car without a new map, the more chance it will self-destroy

Simtek probably the best route.. if you can get a secondhand Apexi powerFc then also worth considering as they no longer make them so not available new except the odd old stock item but usually very expensive.

For the moment I wqould do as Splitpin suggests.. remove the intercooler pipework in the engine bay, refit the tmic and standard air box and see how the car drives.

It may also be possible that you do not have an sti engine, I have seen a fair number with a standard uk engine and turbo fitted (hopefully not in this car though).. just drive it very carefully until setup etc.
