Default advice needed please

hi all have just bought a 94 wrx sti? thats what he told me but not to sure. the problem is the turbo up pipe is blowing. i was thinking of replacing it with a ss decat one. would i have to have it mapped if i replace standard one with decat up pipe. its also boosting just over 1 bar with exhaust leak and the revs hunt now and then isthat due to exhaust. thanx any advice would be gr8

Get the exhaust and up-pipe changed, you'll be fine with the de-cat up pipe, (in fact you can safely and legally remove all cats from the system) change the plugs and fluids and filters then see what problems you have. No point in messing with anything until you've sorted the exhaust.
