hi all i just had a apexi ecu fitted and a remap just a week gone and drove home then 40-60
mls today i took it to refuel and was driving up the local road and then bang

conrod upthrou block is it poss to do with work just done or just one of those things
it is a uk scooby 1997

but now what do i do as money isnt easy to come by so i want to fix but i dont have an end less cash fund

what the best way to sort this and make her live again

What sort of knock levels were you seeing on the commander before the engine let go?

 

tbh i didnt see any tihng much i kinda just went bang

 

What sort of power levels were you running? what knock detection do you have on your car (KS3, knocklink etc)?? What fuel was your car mapped for (and what were you running?)

i run tesco 99 as only thing i can get local was running 288 bhp knock i think was the standerd one the car was only maped last friday i havenot really drove it since.
bit of smoke was coming out before any of this happend so dont know if it was connected before the remap a lot of fuel went down this clyinder due to a failed o ring which i repaired .
