just picked up a vf24 for my scoob. there is no play in the shaft. but has a small amount of damage to one of the fins. think i can sort that. anyway. the wheel in the exhaust side of the turbo seems to have a lot of fresh oil on it. now i dont know if it has been lubed up. of if the oil seal has gone. but i would have thought thats it would have burnt off if the oil came from the seal. is there any way to check the seal without fitting the turbo and hoping?
