Erm, is it a diesel, are those glow plugs in the middle of the hemishpere, poor picture? and Gunk on valves, terminal head gasket failure lots of water in cylinders and snapped the valves trying to get out.

?

From a K series engine the tensioner was over tightened and snapped which snapped all the intake vavles and piston 3+4 smashed into little bits and bent all the rods. Was a machanics fault lol the lady said it happened at about 2k rpm

Being a K series engine, had it just been in for a head gasket then?

them k series are prone to headgasket and looks like new engine time.
